School Governors required (Voluntary role)
Malmesbury School's Local Governing Body are looking to strengthen our team and their effectiveness by recruiting new Governors with knowledge and skill in the following areas: Health and Safety, Education, and Diversity. To ensure that we have sufficient parent voice we are also looking for an additional Parent Governor. Just as important as qualifications and knowledge are enthusiasm and commitment to the education of all our students. Applicants should be willing to support and challenge the school, be available to visit the school during the day on an occasional basis and would be expected to make attending meetings a priority.
Being a school governor is both interesting and rewarding and is an opportunity to make a real difference to the life of the students in our school and to support Malmesbury School in its process of continuous improvement. Training is provided and the time commitment is not overly onerous.

Assistant Headteacher - two roles vacant

Health and Safety Lead
Fixed Term 1 year contract

Salary: NJC Scale points 5-8 £19,312 – £20,493 pro rata Athelstan Trust
Contract type: Term time 38 weeks
Malmesbury School is looking for a Health and Safety Lead, to join our established team of administration staff who support this very busy and successful school. The post involves: supporting and advising the Bursar and Headteacher on all aspects relating to Safety, Health and Environmental good practice. Managing and monitoring standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety across the school are adhered to.

G4S Vacancy - Cleaners - Various
- 2 x 12.5hr Morning Shift, Hrs: 5.30am – 8am Monday to Friday OR 1 x 25hr position working 5.30am – 8am and 3.30pm – 6pm.
- Term time only position with 10 days deep clean during holiday periods.
- Salary: £7.83 per hour, paid on a ‘spread-over’ rate throughout the year.
